Shitcoin Fertilizers, Governance and the future of the Tulips Garden

Tulips.Farm is live after a successful launch full of growth, progress, and memes. Pink tulips have been successfully grown and are on their way to becoming Red Tulips 💐

A little update on where the project is right now:

• Initial liquidity for sTLP and pTLP has been locked for 6 months.
• The teams 5000 sTLP have been grown into pTLP and are on their way to becoming rTLP’s. This will be our stake in the governance of the project.
• With community approval, we have transferred 5000 sTLP from the daily injector to the liquidity pool mining contract. This brings the total amount of sTLP available to mine at 20,000 and brings down the injection amount to 9000 (since 1000 have already been injected). This also means that injections into the community will only occur for another 18 days, rather than 28.
• The bounty address and the daily injector address have been locked in a vested time-lock contract. (500 per day for injection and 500 per week for bounties).

So what the hell is all of this and what are the moving gears associated with it?

The Tulips Farm is the overall name of our project, it encompasses 3 main components.

• The Tulips Garden
• The Shitcoin Fertilizer
• The Governance Tavern

The Tulips Garden

The Tulips Garden is the gateway contract that governs and regulates the Tulips Farm ecosystem. It has the sole capacity to burn and mint new Tulip associated tokens (sTLP, pTLP and rTLP). All growing and staking is completed via the Tulips Garden contract.

The second functionality of the garden contract is the ability for rTLP holders to choose the rewards they want from staking, currently the only reward is sTLPs. The end goal of the Tulips Garden is to be a launchpad for other tokens (a form of airdropping).

For example, John Doe creates an innovative ERC-20 token and wants to distribute it to the community. He can set aside 1,000,000 of his token prior to launch for distribution, send it to the Tulips Garden and configure the yield amount per rTLP that members will receive. The garden will act as a custodian for his tokens.

rTLP holders can then stake their rTLPs and instead of obtaining sTLPs, they can choose John Doe’s innovative ERC-20 token.

This is the original team vision for the Tulips Garden — An airdropping platform for community-run projects.

The Shitcoin Fertilizer (Liquidity Mining)

To grow healthy tulips you have to make sure they get enough nutrients, this is where the shitcoin fertilizer comes in.

The fertilizer is a separate smart contract that will launch this week. It will have a supply of pre-minted 20,000 sTLP split into the 3 pools sTLP/ETH, pTLP/ETH and rTLP/ETH. The fertilizer will run for 60 days from when it launches and help provide liquidity stability.

In the next iteration of the garden contract, the fertilizer will have the ability to mint sTLP. The amounts to be minted and token pools available are set via community governance.

The Governance Tavern

As a holder of an rTLP, you are invited to the governance tavern. This is where the rTLP community can propose and vote on new and exciting features that will shape the future of the Tulips Farm. It’s also where projects are vetted prior to being placed in the Shitcoin Fertilizer.

What needs to be done?

The launch was always going to be a month-long ordeal for us. Some of the tasks that we are currently working on:

• The Fixed Shitcoin Fertilizer contract and front-end.
• Garden V2 contract that will include which is the full version of the Tulip Garden.
• Injecting the rest of the sTLP into the liquidity pool, the impact should be less after liquidity mining is launched.
• Creating the rTLP pool in preparation for the first rTLP’s to appear.
• Getting listed on Coingecko and CMC.
• We’ll focus on exchange listings after Garden V2 is out.
